Description

We were thinking that our frames are so over engineered that we could use our winches for other applictions other than leisure. So we have come up with this useful winch.

The SlowTow has a maximum speed of under 4 mph.

Some uses for this winch;

  • Forrestry- towing logs, tree stumps etc
  • Mud rescue - pulling things that are stuck in mud
  • general towing on flat ground - moving skid units etc 
  • Slow incredibly powerful pulling power.
  • Long winch line, over 200m
  • Low ground pressure and small for limited access 
The winch comes with ;

  • Transport kit (removable wheels and handle)
  • 6.5 hp petrol engine
  • 2:1 wet clutch reduction box
  • Dyneema winch line and shackle
  • 2T lifting strap for tethering winch
  • Winch can be bolted down, there are holes pre drilled in the frame
  • Throttle on the engine
  • Pull start with kill switch
  • True free spooling system - no effort whatsoever to take the line out

You can also use a pulley on the pulled end for half speed and double power.
