River Kaying Experience

Enjoy the flat water tranquility of paddling your kayak along the river.
Our unique location takes us to the heart of Romney marsh, near a picturesque reed bed with wildlife a plenty. It is approximately 15 minutes drive from our centre.

On a good day you may  see swans, dragon flies, ducks, even kingfishers.
No experience is needed, it's best to get a small group together.
We have single and tandem kayaks available. We've even had people bring well behaved dogs!

See the sun bounce off the water, if you are lucky you may see the water lillies in flower, lambs hopping on the banks and wildlife all around.

We use the River Rother between Peasmarsh and wittersham. It is possible to go all the way along this river to Newenden and Bodiam. The river meanders all the way to Rye along the Military canal, through a lock gate and eventually to the sea via Rye Harbour.

Our kayaks are sit on top kayaks and are very stable.
This is a guided tour and must be booked in advance.

Paddle, kayak, wetsuit if needed and bouyancy aids included in course price.
