I've been on a quest to find a worthy replacement for my beloved Vans flipflops that only cost 11 about 15 years ago. These are so far the best contenders. The straps are super comfy, and a nice snug fit, which makes them really easy to walk in. I like the absolutely massive footprint. They're easy to walk in, but they kind of encourage you to walk slowly and chillllll. The soles are fairly stiff and, whilst nice and thick, they're not as cushioned or squidgy as some I've tried. This has some benefits, like it's easier to cycle in them and they're more comfortable on gravel and stones. But they don't have that really floaty, cushion soft feel. The cork footbed is a very thin layer of cork. Maybe it'd be nice if that was thicker and more generous... Still nice to walk on the natural cork though. I'm happy with these at 30.
