Description

Kitesurfing kite hire.

£20. hour or £50 based on a 3 hour session.

We have kites in all sizes from 5m up to 17m.
Brands include Cabrinha, Airush, Crazyfly, Ozone and more.

Hirers must be proficient at kitesurfing, this includes;

• Being able to ride upwind in all conditions up to 30 knots,
• Be able to set up and pack down kites neatly
• Be able to ride in chop and waves
• Have 3rd party insurance (BKSA preferred)
• Have a BKSA or IKO course completion card where possible
• Be able to complete an emergency packdown in all conditions
• Know the rights of way and rules of the road (On the sea)
• Have good knowledge of wind and tide and how that affects riding in the locality
• Riders should know the kitesurf zoning and adhere to local rules.
• Riders should be couteous to other water users.

Hire rate includes kite control bar and leash if needed.

Please be aware;

• Kites are VERY expensive, any damage is chargeable
• There will be surcharges for tangled lines (£20)
• There is a drying and cleaning surcharge for wet and sandy kites (£20)
• We do have a large garden with a hose for you to sort lines and clean dirty kites out of the direct wind.
• If you run over your hire period you will be charged extra.

Please bring the kites back in the same condition as when you picked them up.
